Five Tips For Getting And Staying On The Nice List

If you want to write a letter Santa will really appreciate, there are a couple of things that you should include that will grab his attention and make your letter to Santa stand out from the rest. One of the most important things you can do before you even start to write your Santa letter is to make sure that you are already on the nice list. If you write a Santa letter and you are on the naughty list chances are he will not give it much credence so you better watch out.

One of the things that Santa does not like very much is a crybaby. Be careful not to sound as if you are crying to Santa Clause about anything. Remember, he sees you when you are sleeping and he knows when you are awake. He will also know if you have been annoying your parents by crying and whining for things that you should have to earn. If your parents have already told you no about something, crying to Santa will do you very little good anyway and if it annoys your parents, chances are it will annoy Santa as well.

Another good idea to remember when you write your letter to Santa Clause is not to pout. Pouting and threatening to hold your breath if you do not get something for Christmas is a real good way to ensure that you will not get it. Santa likes little boys and girls who understand the concept of bad and good so make sure you are good, for goodness sake. Do not say anything in your letter about crying or pouting, as it will only put you on shaky ground.

You want Santa to remember how well your letter was written when he comes to your town. This means that it should be written as politely as possible. Remember to say nice, respectful things about your mother and father so that he will know that you are watching your manners and that you are trying very hard to make the nice list every year. Santa understands that you cannot be perfect, at least, not all of the time. He does not expect you to be perfect. All that Santa Clause wants you to do is to try your very best. If you are a good girl or boy, let him know this in your letter. It is perfectly acceptable to tell Santa that you have been good. Be proud of it. Being good and always doing the right thing can be hard sometimes. Santa Clause knows this and he appreciates your effort.

Finally, do the things all year long that you know would make Santa Clause happy. If you try to do the right thing and listen to your parent’s instruction all year long, Santa will already know you were very good and, with your parent’s permission, he might just leave you everything you asked for. The best way to make sure that you are good all year is to remember that you have to watch out, you had better not cry and you had better not pout. I am telling you why right now. It is because Santa Clause is coming to town.

When you close your letter, let Santa know that you will leave him some cookies and some milk, just in case he is hungry or thirsty. Write as neatly as you can and mention your good school grades so that he knows how good you are and that you care.

Minimize Allergen Exposure With Down Alternatives

A good pillow is essential for a good night’s sleep. Without a pillow, the neck and head are unsupported which can lead to both short and long-term muscle strain. A pillow that’s excessively soft may provide insufficient support, whereas one that is too hard will be uncomfortable.

However, even if the pillow is physically comfortable, the stuffing or fill of the pillow may be a reservoir of allergens that cause disruptive allergies. Puffy, itchy eyes and an irritated, stuffy nose are but a few allergy symptoms that can negatively impact sleep.

Research has shown that allergies are caused by microscopic dust mites that inhabit down fill material. The next morning the memory foam will return to its original shape when you stop exerting weight on it. Memory foam was originally developed by NASA research for its space program. One problem with memory foam is that many people report being sensitive to strange chemical smells coming from the foam.

Describing A Peaking Laminate Floor

Laminate flooring is definitely a lot more durable than most other types flooring; laminate really could be considered the toughest of floors. Of course, there are still some issues with even laminate floors, and warping is the main one. So, let’s look at warping as it pertains to laminate. A laminated floor that develops a look of something coming from under the house are being affected by peaking. The effect is a bit disturbing. Many people assume that water has somehow gotten under their laminate floor, or that their foundation is cracked, but this is very rarely the case.

What Causes This To Happen?

There’s a couple of reasons why your laminated floor could be peaking. You should make it a priority to know exactly why it is happening if you want to fix things correctly. Some make the mistake of assuming that something that caused a friend’s laminate floors to begin peaking is the same reason theirs is. This sort of assumption will cost a lot of time and money.

Peaking Can Be Caused By Lack Of Space For Expansion

Everything expands and contracts, and laminate flooring is certainly no exception. This is why laminated floors are supposed to be installed with space between their edges and the molding. If this space is not available to expand into, the planks will push against each other. Once the pressure is sufficient, the floor will go the only direction that it can: up. If ignored for long enough, the floor will end up with a sort of hump in it, almost like a permanent wave.

Fixed Moldings Can Cause Peaking

Your laminated flooring will still be trapped, even if there is room to expand, if the molding are immobile. Finding only a few pieces of secured molding can be a real nightmare. The solid point could be any place that’s connected to the issue since laminate flooring is designed to not be attached to anything, moldings or sub-floor, something referred to as floating. Many times amateur installers fasten moldings down, either out of ignorance or because they’re trying to get the flooring to stay put while they work.

The Length Of The Boards Can Cause Peaking

This one really depends on the manufacturer of the laminate flooring, and is probably the least likely. When a single board is too long, it can have the same effect as not having enough room to expand. This issue is avoided by never installing any single plank that is longer than is recommended by the manufacturer. If you did not install your floor, however, it can be difficult to find out who the manufacturer of your flooring is. As this generally only happens in situations where there are straight runs of 40 feet or more, you can probably rule this out unless you have a rather large house, or are dealing with a long hallway. However, if you can’t find any place where your laminate floor is fixed, then it may be time to start looking for markings on the bottom of planks.
